Amrullah Saleh is an Afghan politician who worked with Ahmad Shah Massoud - military leader of the Afghan resistance - as well as for the government led by Hamid Karzai. Author of several publications on issues related to security, governance and foreign policy of Afghanistan, Saleh was head of the National Directorate of Security from 2004 until his resignation in 2010.
