«The closer you get to your childhood, the more you manage to explain yourself». One of the greatest contemporary sculptors, Arnaldo Pomodoro, talks about his childhood, his need for solitude, how he found his way and created the first “seed” of his art.
Famous for its bronze spheres, Pomodoro has created works that are exhibited in the most important cities of the world, from Milan to Dublin, Moscow to New York. Right there on the street leading to the United Nations three of his works decorate the city. A success that even today, at the age of 88, brings him to ask himself, with a smile: “But how did I do this?”
